The best thing about nature in Sydney is the water. In Sydney, the beach is my friend. Just make sure to swim between the flags, surf away from rocks, and wade inside the shark nets. I wasn't a big fan of the beach in California, but found myself drawn to the waters in Australia. Clear and warmer water, uncrowded beaches, absolute chill atmosphere, Sydney has got this amazing beach culture/vibe. Some beaches worth visiting: aside from Bondi, .. are Clovelly (if you like snorkeling, which I haven't done there), the rock areas in Coogee for wading around, and last but not the least, my absolute favorite ... Shark Bay in Vaucluse.
